Carrefour: – Siorac-en-Périgord, the closest; approximately 10 minutes driving, has a wide range of items, mainly French of course but also many other international items as well.
Also at Saint Cyprien.
Intermarché: – Le Bugue, Bergerac
LeClerc: – Sarlat-la-Canéda, Bergerac
Lidl: – Le Bugue, Bergerac, Sarlat-la-Canéda
Aldi: – Le Bugue
Casino: – Le Buisson de Cadouin (mini-market)
In addition to the Supermarkets above, there are of course the traditional Boulangerie/Patisserie., here are some examples.
Siorac-en-Périgord – Le Pain de Sylvain opposite Carrefour (n.b. closes at 13.00 until 15.00) and all Sunday afternoon
Le Buisson-de-Cadouin – Patisserie Bontems opposite the Station on the D51E, Boulangerie Michel Garrigue on the D25 just East of the centre of Le Buisson
Le Bugue – Les Délices du Moulin, as its name suggests, is easily identifiable by the windmill ‘sails’ on the building, the always bake with a wood burning oven
This is our favourite, when we are there shopping or passing through we always stop for a supply.
It is located on the right, when leaving Le Bugue going south towards Le Buisson-de-Cadouin. It bakes the bread in wood fired ovens, more than ‘Delices’ (delights), truly delicious.
Wines and Spirits
Most of the Super/Hypermarkets have very good ranges of wines and sprits. Lidl and Aldi wine prices are good. Their Spirits are manly own brand however they often get good specialist makes which may be on special promotion for a short, say 2 week period.
Julien de Savignac – Le Bugue – located in the south of leBugue on the left, a short distance from Intermarche.
Definitely worth a visit as this is an ‘Aladins Cave’ of Wines and Spirits with very subtle interior decor.
Wines availabe from cheap but good 5 litre flagons/boxes and of course by the bottle up to around €3500.00 per bottle.
Vast range of Spirits from around the world.

Often but not always, fuel is a few cents cheaper in larger towns e.g. Bergerac, Sarlat, top up if you are there.
Motorway Service Stations are always more expensive.
On main roads, filling stations operated by Total and other independent sellers, tend to be more expensive.
